Clinical Research

A visionary option you can consider

Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates participates in national clinical research studies.

These studies seek new or improved treatments for many ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis and allergies. We work with real patients (who agree to be part of our clinical research) to test better treatments.

Clinical trials are required by the FDA before a treatment is approved for use. Trials monitor and determine the effectiveness of medications, therapies or devices on patients before they are approved for the general public. An Independent Review Board (IRB) has approved any clinical trial we participate in and the purpose of the study will be fully explained to the patient before participating.
